Do this

  1. Widest aperture, ISO Auto. Breathe out, elbows on a table or against a wall, take three frames in a row and keep the sharpest.
  2. Art behind glass: polariser on and rotate until your reflection disappears. Shoot at a slight angle rather than square-on.
  3. Restaurants: window light is the best light there is. Sit people side-on to the window.
  4. Check the rules — many galleries allow photos without flash, some don't.

If it goes wrong

Blurred
Shutter below 1/30 handheld. Brace harder, raise Max for Auto ISO to 12800, or accept it and enjoy the room.
Orange or green colour cast
Indoor lights. Leave it; it's correctable later from the RAW file.
