Do this
- Face away from the sun. Everything it touches is warm and softly lit — buildings, faces, the wet sand.
- Look for long shadows and things that glow: a wet rock, a person's hair, the lighthouse itself.
- Move fast — you have twenty minutes. Don't fiddle with settings; Av f/5.6, shoot.
If it goes wrong
- Colours look too orange on screen
- They're not. Screens undersell it. Leave white balance on Auto and judge at home.
