Do this
- Polariser on and rotated — it cuts the haze in the gorge and deepens the sky. Rotate until the far cliffs sharpen up.
- Put a person on the bridge for scale. Without one, nobody can tell how big it is.
- From the bridge itself: vertical, looking down the cables to the drop. Strap around your wrist.
- From the viewpoint: horizontal, bridge as a line across the frame, gorge below.
If it goes wrong
- Gorge is a hazy blue blur
- Polariser, and later in the day. Morning haze burns off.
- Sky white
- Exposure compensation −⅔.
